Difference between Gel & Shellac

While the gel polish is thicker and less prone to chippings it is also much weaker to hot waters and the gel can break up. The Shellac is a mixture of gel for strength and normal polish for the gloss. Both comes with varieties of colour to choose.
Both of this polish can be easily removed with our compact Nail polish remover kit, it can be you saviour especially when you need them at your holidays.
Application process
We will run through an overview process of what you can expect on your appointment day.
PREP
PREP is the systematic method to prepare your nail for enhancement. This is the first stage, the technician will carry out all the basics like cleaning, removing shine, cutting cuticles, filing nails and buffing.
Application
For Gel/Shellac Nails; Application of non acid primer on your nail plates that works like a double sided tape, a base coat and the polish itself.
For extensions; the technician will start building your nails with the gel as soon as primer is applied then filed to required shape and length and then the polish of your choice is applied.
Finishing
The technician will wrap up with final touches to your enhancement this may include buffing, final coat of polish, top coat and application of cuticle oil. The optional add-ons are applied wither at this stage or sometimes before the finishing step depends on what add-ons you choose.
Note; The technician will cure your nails multiple times under LED UV light during the entire process. Some times the technician may skip any step(s) if it’s deemed as unnecessary to your nail condition.

Addons are the little details that complete the look of your plain nails, ranges from Swarovski crystals to glitters or French Nails. These are great for events & parties to make your nails standout.

We accept walk-in’s but booking is recommended.
We assess your nails before being treated, if the technician finds any infection or discolouration due to injury then we reserve the right to withdraw the service unless it is proved as no safety concern for yourself as well as to the technician.
Why we don't offer Acrylic Extensions?
Did you know? Acrylics is a type of plastic. There are many instances where acrylics have had adverse effects on staff / customers health due to it’s strong fumes. They also make your nails less breathable and can cause damage to your natural nail bed in a long term.
These are similar products used in various applications in different ways like display units, stationery storage products etc
In Short: We don’t need plastics on our bodies.
We offer Gel Extensions which is much safer than Acrylics and even pregnant women can have it without any adverse effects.
