Pre-care

Why Pre-care?

“Preparation is the key to a successful outcome”. We’ve thoughtfully compiled a set of simple steps to help you prepare yourself before you come in for your Dream treatment. By taking these measures, you not only minimize potential risks but also build your confidence in our treatment procedures.

Follow the pre-care for your treatment to ensure you have a smoother & hassle-free treatment process on the treatment day.

Brow Lamination Precare

Self-care

Patch test: Ensure you have had a  patch test for Brow Lamination at least 48hrs before the treatment. Patch tests are specific to the treatment.

No make-up: Strictly no make-up on eyebrows and make sure your eyebrows are free from any oils or skin care products before treatment.

No skin treatments: It’s not safe to have brow lamination if you are using AHA, BHA or Retinol (Anti-aging products), recent microblading/permanent make up, chemotherapy, sensitive skin/eyes, recent facial surgery, facial skin infections, eye infections, eye cysts, styes, or claustrophobia. chemical peels and spray tan on the face prior to the appointment.

Avoid hair removal: Avoid any type of hair removal 48 hours prior to the appointment.

Avoid Exfoliation: Using exfoliator on skin for at least 24 hours before the treatment can clear the skin from dead cells and make skin more prone to irritation during treatment.

Avoid sun exposure: As sunburned or tanned skin can be more sensitive to the treatment, good to avoid excessive sun exposure and self-tanning before 3 days of treatment.

Allow your brow hairs to grow for at least 3 weeks.

On the Treatment Day

Our brow experts will access your brows for any visual damages or any contraindications.

    • You will be asked to fill the consultation revealing any medical conditions that is affecting the area of treatment.
    • We will also require pictures of before and after the treatment.
    • Failure to adhere with above conditions will result in termination of the treatment
Eyelashes Precare

Self-care

Cleanse your lashes: Before the appointment, wash your lashes with a gentle cleanser to remove any dirt, oil, or makeup on lashes. This makes better surface for lashes to bond and help the extensions last longer. 

Patch test: It's mandatory process to conduct at least 48 hours before treatment (repeated every 6 months if don’t see u regularly for the treatment) to check for any allergic reactions.  

Avoid Oil-Based Products: Using oil-based skincare products or makeup remover on the lashes can make the glue for extensions weaker, so they might fall off sooner.  

Remove contact lenses: Good practice to remove the contact lenses and avoid eye drops before treatment to avoid irritation during the application. Although we provide a holder for you contact lenses, we still recommend you to have your own holder if you prefer not to use ours. 

No caffeinated beverages:  Having caffeine before 2 hours of treatment can cause continuous twitching of your eyelids which makes the lashing process longer than estimated. 

Makeup free lashes: Arrive without any eye make-up and don’t apply waterproof mascara for 3 days prior to your treatment appointment, this can leave a waxy barrier on your lashes.

Intervals: Leave at least 3-4 weeks gap between your lash treatments to avoid any damages to your natural lashes.

Avoid any lash conditioning treatments for 24 hours before treatment. 

On the Treatment Day

Our Lash technician will access your Eyelashes for any visual damages / contraindications

    • You will be asked to fill the consultation revealing any medical conditions that is affecting the area of treatment.
    • We will also require pictures of before and after the treatment.
    • Failure to adhere with above conditions will result in termination of the treatment
Nails Precare

Self-care

Cleanse: Before the appointment, wash your hands with a soap and water to remove any dirt or oil from nails. 

Moisturize your cuticles: Apply cuticle oil or moisturizer to keep cuticles hydrated and healthy which promote good nail growth and helps to prevent lifting of the nail extensions.

Interval: We recommend at least 3-4 weeks of intervals between treatments. You may need  longer intervals if you are under any medication or if you have any other condition affecting your nails.

On the Treatment Day

Our technicians will access your nail condition for any visual damages / contraindications

    • You will be asked to fill the consultation revealing any medical conditions that is affecting your nails
    • We will also take pictures of your nails before and after treatment.
Threading Precare

Self-care

Cleansing: To remove any dirt, oil, or makeup, wash your face with a gentle cleanser. This helps to reduce the risk of irritation and infection.

Exfoliate: Gentle exfoliator helps to remove dead skin cells and provide clear skin for threading.

Moisturize: It’s important to hydrate or moisturize your skin before threading, to avoid temporary redness or sensitivity after the threading.

Avoid sun / UV exposure: Excessive sun exposure, saunas or hot showers will make your skin tender, so it is better to avoid them before threading

Contraindications: We may not be able to go ahead with your treatment if there are any visible contraindications like scars, burns, bumps etc

Tinting / Henna Precare

Self-care

Patch test: Ensure you have had a  patch test for Tinting or Henna at least 48hrs before the treatment. Patch tests are specific to the treatment. Tinting & Henna requires different patch test.

Cleansing: To remove any dirt, oil, or makeup, wash your face with a gentle cleanser and arrive without make-up on the treatment day.

Avoid Exfoliate: Using exfoliator on skin for at least 24 hours before the treatment can clear the skin from dead cells and make skin more prone to irritation during tinting/henna application.

Avoid sun exposure: As sunburned or tanned skin can be more sensitive to the treatment, good to avoid excessive sun exposure and self-tanning before 3 days of tinting/henna application.

Avoid Oil-Based Products: Using oil-based moisturizers or lotions on the skin can cause barrier that prevents tint or henna dyeing on skin or hair.

Our beautician will access your treatment area for any visible skin conditions or contraindications

    • You will be asked to fill the consultation revealing any medical conditions that is affecting the area of treatment.
    • We may require pictures of before and after the treatment.
    • Failure to adhere with above conditions will result in termination of the treatment
Waxing Precare

Self-care

Personal hygiene:  Please ensure the waxing area is washed & clean when you are arriving for the treatment.

No lotions or potions: Using self-tanners, body sprays, deodorants or any other creams before appointment is not recommended. 

Hair growth range: Ensure there is a minimum 13 to 19mm of hair growth. For delicate hair such as facial hair it can be slightly shorter.

Avoid heat: No tanning beds, hot tubs, and saunas for at least 24 hours before your treatment. 

Exfoliate: Exfoliating the area gently 24 hours before your appointment will remove the dead skin cells and allow for a cleaner wax. 

Wear comfort: Wear loose comfortable clothing to prevent irritation after waxing.
